Bothwell Castle Wedding – Claire & Stuart

This Bothwell castle wedding has been one of my favourites of the year so far. I first met Claire and Stuart way back last year. Time flew by so quickly to their big day. They are an absolutely lovely couple and make you instantly feel at ease in their company.

Their wedding was on a bright spring morning in April. The sun was out to play, everyone was in great form and so welcoming. I managed to capture some lovely pictures at Claire’s parents house before we headed round the corner to her local parish Church in Bothwell: St Brides. Claire looked amazing coming down the aisle and Stuart was beaming with pride. Fr. Doyle gave a lovely service and they became Mr & Mrs Lang. Afterwards we whisked the bridal party away to the stunning Bothwell castle for some photographs. I’m sure these will be amazing memories of their day to treasure forever. As it was spring, there was a load of daffodils that I just had to use for photos. They are some of my favourite pictures from the day. Claire and Stuart look so happy in them and they are bursting with colour.

Afterwards it was a short journey down the M74 to the Radstone hotel. This is a lovely modern venue. Stephen and his team really look after you and it comes highly recommended. We were given some memorable speeches by the boys and another faultless meal.  ‘Roadhouse‘ wedding band then got the party started and I left everyone dancing the night away.
