Margaret Ann and James were married on Saturday 18th May 2013 in Glasgow. The service was in St Annes and the reception was in Sloans ballroom.
I have known Jamie and his family for many years and it was an absolute pleasure to take their wedding photographs. The big day started manically at Mags’ parents flat where everyone was having a good time getting ready.
I managed to get some lovely pictures of the bride to be before she left for the church.
Just like all brides she was wanted to make a big entrance so was fashionably late.
This was a special moment as her dad walked her down the aisle.
The weather wasnt the greatest on the day but our luck was in as the rain went off for a wee while, which allowed us to quickly get down to an empty Glasgow Green for some romantic pictures of the new Mr & Mrs Rice. Even a moody taxi driver couldnt stop the smiles!
Afterwards we went to Sloans ballroom for the big dinner (the steak pie is highly recommended!). Jamie and Mags had really made the place their own with lots of personal touches. I loved the cake figures!
After dinner we had a bit of spare time so we all braved the rain to get some cool
shots out in the courtyard and in a deserted Buchanan Street

After that it was back in to get the party started!
